As for real estate, the market continues to press forward. Take a look at the median sales prices for EBR, Livingston and Ascension year over year. EBR down .4%, but Livingston up 4.4% with Ascension winning the game at a 6% increase!

* Yet inventory has grown by 813 units from last year
* Pending sales are down by 306 units from last year
* Closed sales are down but are approaching normal levels
* Days on market is up but averages only 26 days
* There is still a less than 2.5 months supply of homes available
* Houses are selling for 99% of list price!
* Number of showings to pending is down from 2021 to 7 showings before contract
So, while there are some adjustments being made, homes are selling when priced right and in good condition. There remains pent up buyer demand. With the summer season rapidly approaching we expect to see increased activity! Join the madness!
